Good social media management takes work. It takes research, creative writing, graphic design, and regular analysis. Combine that with A/B testing and continued optimization, your social media strategy will succeed. When we embark on a social media journey, we put ourselves in the shoes of the client, and the audience to design a social media services blueprint that engages followers and delivers brand awareness.
Problem: The Crafter Way is building a business from the ground up, and wanted a social growth strategy that would get them in front of the right audience, at the right time.
They decided to focus on Instagram, an excellent platform for creating and nurturing brand awareness. With visually enticing products, and a target audience that lives on the platform, we agreed that Instagram was the perfect place to execute their social media growth plan.
Strategy & Process: At project kickoff, we jumped into discovery and research. We delved deep into the target audiences needs, wants, and guilty pleasures, building a base for identifying post cadence and times. We then jumped into competitive research, looking for successes and mishaps of both aspirational and direct competitors. We followed up our competitive research with a deep dive into hashtags, searching for opportunities for exposure to new audiences.
We then created content concepts and an editorial calendar complete with relevant Instagram hashtag banks. We designed and devised engaging social media posts at a calculated cadence, and scheduled the posts for automation.

Social Media Services: Ongoing Optimization
In addition to the nuts and bolts of social media management, community engagement is paramount to overall account growth. By actively participating in community discussion and interacting with target accounts, we secured additional followers and supplied a level of connection and trust to the audience.
And we don’t stop working when the posts flip from scheduled to live. We continuously monitor for engagement, looking for outliers and trends, and update post cadence and timing, ensuring the content has the best chance for success.
That, along with monthly analysis of what works versus what doesn’t, allows us to quickly pivot when audience trends dictate a change, and course-correct future posts.
